Paige Men's Fall 2016 Collection
Transitioning wardrobes from summer to fall can be a daunting task for many. Personally, I tend to adopt summer uniforms so breaking away can be even more of a challenge. However, when the temperatures start to drop, the number of layers has to go up, so I need stylish fall pieces readily available. This fall, and thanks to this new website of mine, I happen to be on top of things! I set out to write about fall clothing and in the process was fortunate enough to source sweet pieces from Paige Men's F/W '16 collection. I'm sharing three looks, each styled with the same pair of Lennox black vinyl destructed denim, that I've ripped just a tad more, and also with my favourite Fluevog chelsea boot, the Jerusalem. Thanks Paige for my new fall uniforms!
Not only is this a play on the Canadian tuxedo (denim on denim), the Hunter denim shirt from Paige is one of my favourite pieces from the fall collection. It's constructed beautifully out of thick blue distressed denim. Most other denim shirts I own are very thin and light, which has its own set of advantages, but the quality of this shirt is superb and will keep you warm when needed. You can style this shirt buttoned up and unbuttoned (as shown with my light weight Balmain x H&M tank top).
We spend so much money and time finding our perfect summer pieces, including tees. So for this look, I took one of my staple Alexander Wang tops, an oversized black tee, rolled up the sleeves, and paired it with the Conroy Crew Sweater from Paige - shown here tied around my waist. Simply throw on the sweater in the evening when the weather cools down. Done and done!
Sometimes I buy the same item in two different colours - that was the case here, with the Conroy Crew sweater in black! This waffle stitch merino blend sweater will be my new fall staple, amen! And even though I love to wear #allblackeverything, it's nice to mix in some actual colour. I styled this look with the red Firebrick Julian Plaid shirt tied at the waist. This shirt is super comfy worn on its own, as it is made with an incredibly soft cotton/rayon fabric. Important to note, the Conroy Crew sweater is quite fitted so I wouldn't recommend wearing anything too bulky underneath (I'm wearing both the Balmain x H&M tank and the Wang tee underneath but they are both super thin).
